PG's Books

This is another very good book in the series. Maybe just a notch below the previous ones though. In particular I missed the space battles. There was only a few and they were dealt with rather quickly in the book. As with the previous books the longwinded speeches, patting themselves on the back telling them how righteous and good they were was sometimes a bit “yawn-inducing”.

Overall the book was very good though. Again, the good guys stayed good guys and the bad guys stayed bad guys. No faffing around with tedious scheming and backstabbing apart from one little incident that really only lasted a few pages.

Definitely was great fun to read. I’m not sure whether there will be a next one. I hope their will. The Queen and her knights may have won one victory but not the war. The Chessori is still around. I would quite like a few more books taking on the Chessori Empire.
