Demon's Sacrifice

Demon's Sacrifice - Saxon Andrew, Frank MacDonald, Derek Chiodo I thought the first book in this series was absolutely excellent as most of the other ones.

However, it is now starting to get somewhat over the top with the next enemy even more formidable than the other and somehow they are always magically able to device or find som new super weapon to save their arses. The millennia are going by in a frightening speed and worlds are brought into the Realm, or killed off, in staggering numbers.

You never really connect with the main-persons any more, there a too many heroes. In the book the Realm have grown too big to manage and I think it's grown too big for the book as well.

It's still a good book but it's not getting that five-star rating this time.
